# Gameplay

Follow the round loop, map progression, perks, power-ups and team revives.

## Survive the rounds

Players fight waves of zombies that become more demanding as the game advances. Earn points, repair window barriers and spend your balance on the map's weapons, rooms and stations. Hellhound rounds add another threat to the survival loop.

The current build offers BO2 and COLDWAR modes. Both use round-based co-op survival, with different progression systems described in [game modes](/zombiesurvival/wiki/game-modes).

## Open the map

Buyable doors connect rooms and let the squad reach more weapon stations, perks and other map features. The power switch activates the map's powered progression. Your arena creator determines station placement, costs and available routes.

## Build an arsenal

Buy guns from wall stations or try the mystery box. Upgrade supported weapons at Pack-a-Punch. WeaponMechanics provides gun behavior, ammunition and reloading; ZombieSurvival handles its integration into the minigame.

## Buy perks

The perk system includes Juggernog, Speed Cola, Double Tap, Quick Revive, Stamin-Up and Mule Kick, among others. Place their stations in the map and tune available progression for the selected game mode.

Perks complement weapons and team play. Surviving longer depends on spending points, opening routes and keeping teammates available to revive each other.

## Power-ups

The current build includes Nuke, Insta-Kill, Double Points, Fire Sale, Max Ammo and Carpenter. These change the immediate fight, point gain, mystery-box economy, ammunition or barrier state.

## Downed players and spectators

A downed teammate can be revived rather than immediately leaving the fight. Players who fall out of the active squad can spectate. Coordinate revives with your team and use the mode's available recovery tools.

## Parties and leaving

Use `/party create`, `/party invite <player>` and `/party join <leader>` to group up. `/party leave` exits the party. `/leave` exits the current game and returns you to the lobby.

The `/game` command is for moderators with `zombiesurvival.game`; it is not the ordinary player join command. Join with `/zs join <arena>` or an arena sign.
