# Weapons & resource pack

Install the bundled WeaponMechanics definitions, map weapons and plan client visuals.

## Required weapon system

The revamped build uses **WeaponMechanics** with **MechanicsCore**. It replaces the old CrackShot integration. `Weapons.yml` maps the weapon identifiers used by ZombieSurvival to the WeaponMechanics definitions.

## Install bundled weapons

Run as an administrator or from the server console:

```text
/zs weapons install
/wm reload
/zs weapons list
```

The installer writes its weapon definitions under `plugins/WeaponMechanics/weapons/zombiesurvival`. The list command displays the configured ZombieSurvival weapons. Check the console after reloading WeaponMechanics for missing or invalid definitions.

## Wonder weapons

The current bundled set includes:

- Ray Gun and its Pack-a-Punch variant
- Thundergun
- Wunderwaffe DG-2
- Monkey Bomb
- A Pack-a-Punch pistol variant

Availability in a game depends on the configured weapon mappings and stations. Installing definitions does not place a wall buy or mystery box in an arena.

## Wall buys, boxes and upgrades

Use `/zs station` to create wall buys and mystery boxes in your arena world. Configure weapon choices in `Weapons.yml` and make sure each mapped WeaponMechanics identifier actually exists.

Pack-a-Punch supports tiered weapon upgrades. Match the available base weapons and upgraded variants when customizing mappings. Test purchases, reloads and upgrades as a player before opening the arena.

## Resource pack

The current build bundles a ZombieSurvival resource-pack overlay and the installer can assemble it with the WeaponMechanics pack. Check the installer's console output for the generated pack and configure the resource-pack delivery settings for your server.

Players need the intended client pack to see the custom weapon and machine visuals. Gun configuration loading successfully does not prove that every client's models or textures are correct; test the pack with a real client.

The released pack and its requirements may change before public release. Keep your server's pack URL and matching hash together when updating the hosted file.
