Commands

Every DeluxeCombat command — player commands, admin commands and console commands.

Tip: Permissions are listed here by name only — see the Permissions page for the full reference including the deluxecombat.user bundle that covers all everyday player commands.

/sellhead deluxecombat.sellhead.redeem Sells the player head you're holding

Warning: Kill recaps have to be enabled first (/dc menu → Settings → Death → Kill-Recaps). Potion stacking has to be enabled in the potion menu (/dc menu → Settings → PvP → Potions), and sellheads in the Vault options (/dc menu → Settings → Supported Plugins → Vault) — sellheads require Vault plus an economy plugin.

Admin commands

All /dc subcommands below require deluxecombat.admin (server operators have it by default).

Command Description
/dc menu Opens the settings editor — the heart of DeluxeCombat
/dc reload Reloads the plugin
/dc apple … Edits god/gold apple effects and recipes
/dc totem … Edits Totem of Undying effects
/dc potion … Manages the potion blacklist
/dc enchantment … Manages the enchantment blacklist
/dc create <sign|spawnpoint> Shows the setup tutorial for leaderboard signs and spawnpoints
/dc editSP <spawnpoint> Edits a placed spawnpoint
/dc clear <corpses|npcs|abuses> Removes all corpses, combat-log NPCs or active kill abuses
/dc group list Lists all data groups and the current server's group
/dc halt ghostplayers Toggles ghost-player spawning
/dc untag <player> Untags a player

Apples and totems

/dc apple customizes the potion effects players get from eating a god or gold apple, and lets you change the crafting recipes with an in-game editor:

Command Description
/dc apple effects Lists all available potion effects
/dc apple <god|gold> recipe Opens the recipe editor
/dc apple <god|gold> list Lists the currently applied effects
/dc apple <god|gold> add <effect> <level> <seconds> Adds an effect
/dc apple <god|gold> remove <effect> Removes an effect
/dc apple <god|gold> clear Clears all custom effects

For example, /dc apple god add SPEED 1 30 gives 30 seconds of Speed I when eating a god apple.

Note: As soon as you add one custom effect, all original vanilla effects are removed for that apple type. Use clear to restore the vanilla behaviour.

/dc totem works exactly the same way for Totem of Undying effects: effects, list, add, remove, clear.

Potion and enchantment blacklists

Ban potions or enchantments from your server — or only during combat:

Command Description
/dc potion list Lists all blacklisted potions
/dc potion add Blacklists the potion you're holding
/dc potion remove Removes the held potion from the blacklist
/dc potion clear Clears the potion blacklist
/dc enchantment list Lists all blacklisted enchantments
/dc enchantment add Blacklists the enchantments of the book you're holding
/dc enchantment remove Removes the held book's enchantments from the blacklist
/dc enchantment clear Clears the enchantment blacklist

For potions, hold the potion you want to ban and run the add command. For enchantments, hold an enchantment book — every enchantment on the book is blacklisted at its level and above.

Tip: To ban blacklisted potions only during combat, enable Ban potions during combat under /dc menu → Settings → Combat → Combat (Extras).

Spawnpoints

Spawnpoints are respawn locations you place in the world: put an obsidian block on the ground with a gold block on top. DeluxeCombat detects the structure and walks you through the setup. Afterwards, /dc editSP <spawnpoint> lets you rename it, require a permission to use it, teleport to it or delete it.

Tip: Place the gold block facing the direction players should look at when they respawn — the eye height is adjusted automatically. /dc create spawnpoint shows the tutorial again.

PvP intervals

PvP intervals restrict PvP in a world to certain times — real-life time or in-game ticks. Requires deluxecombat.admin.

Command Description
/pvp-interval list Lists all active intervals
/pvp-interval add <world> <from> <to> <reallife> Adds an interval to a world
/pvp-interval remove <world> <id> Removes an interval (find the id with list)

With <reallife> set to true, <from>/<to> are clock times on a 24-hour basis; with false they are world ticks:

# PvP allowed from 8:30 to 16:30 real time in world "world"
/pvp-interval add world 8:30 16:30 true

# PvP allowed from tick 1000 to 10000 in world "factions"
/pvp-interval add factions 1000 10000 false

/pvppoints add <player> <amount> deluxecombat.admin Adds PvP points to a player
/pvppoints remove <player> <amount> deluxecombat.admin Removes PvP points from a player
/pvppoints set <player> <amount> deluxecombat.admin Sets a player's PvP points

Console commands

These commands can (or must) be run from the console:

/deluxecombat-bounty <player> <amount> true Sets a bounty without the chat broadcast

Addon information

Command Description
/dc-addon list Lists hooked plugins, official addons and disabled hooks
/dc-addon <name> Shows information about a specific addon hook

This is the quickest way to check whether DeluxeCombat detected a supported plugin — see Supported Plugins.

Command aliases

Some aliases are configurable in the settings editor:

  • /bounty is the default alias for /deluxecombat-bounty (/dc menu → Settings → PvP → Bounty).
  • /sellhead is the default alias for /deluxecombat-sellhead (/dc menu → Settings → Supported Plugins → Vault).
  • Additional aliases for /deluxecombat itself can be added under General settings.

Note: Alias changes require a server restart to take effect. If another plugin occupies /bounty or /sellhead, the /deluxecombat-… long forms always keep working.
