Getting Started

Installation

Download DeluxeCombat, install it on your Spigot or Paper server and verify everything is running.

Requirements

DeluxeCombat runs on Bukkit, Spigot, Paper and compatible forks, and also supports Folia.

Server software Bukkit, Spigot, Paper and compatible forks (Folia supported)
Minecraft versions 1.8.x through 1.21.x, plus the current 26.x releases
Hard dependencies None — DeluxeCombat works out of the box

Note: A few individual features have version requirements of their own (for example, Totem of Undying cooldowns need 1.11+, Trident cooldowns need 1.13+, and custom tools are not available on 1.8.x). Everything else works across the full version range.

Download

After purchasing DeluxeCombat, download the latest version from the marketplace you bought it on:

Install

  1. Drag and drop the downloaded jar into your server's plugins folder.
  2. Restart your server.

That's it. DeluxeCombat generates its configuration on first start and is immediately active. Open the in-game settings editor with /dc menu to start configuring — see Configuration.

Your license

Your copy of DeluxeCombat is licensed to you and bound to the server IPs you run it on. You don't need to enter a license key — servers register automatically when they start.

  • Manage your license, see every server it runs on and buy additional IP slots in the web dashboard (log in with Discord).
  • The dashboard also shows which addons are installed on each of your servers.

Updating

Updating works the same way as installing: replace the old jar in your plugins folder with the new one and restart the server. Your settings and player data are preserved across updates.

Verify the installation

After the restart, check that everything is in place:

  • /dc menu opens the settings editor (requires the deluxecombat.admin permission — server operators have it by default).
  • /dc-addon list shows which supported plugins DeluxeCombat has hooked into.
